Mercedes Signs Wayve Deal for AI Driver

Mercedes-Benz signed a definitive production agreement with British startup Wayve to integrate its AI Driver into future vehicles within two years. Wayve's end-to-end system runs without HD maps or geofences, trained on Nvidia infrastructure via Microsoft Azure. Mercedes already invested in Wayve's $1.5 billion Series D, which valued the company at $8.6 billion in February.
