BYD predicts 80% EV penetration in China

BYD executive vice president Stella Li told CNBC that China's EV market will reach nearly 80% penetration. The Pentagon added BYD to its 1260H list of Chinese military-affiliated companies. New energy vehicles accounted for 62.9% of new passenger car sales in May, while gas car sales plunged 39%.
