Apple adds social media age rating questions

Apple updated the App Store Connect age rating questionnaire with new questions about social media capabilities. Apps with these features will receive a minimum 13+ rating and display a Social Media content descriptor. Starting September 2026, developers must answer the questions before submitting new apps or updates. The changes support Time Allowances in iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS 27.
