Cisco brings AI infrastructure to the edge

Cisco Systems Inc. launched Unified Edge, a converged hardware platform for real-time AI inferencing outside the data center. The solution combines computing, networking, and storage in a modular chassis supporting CPUs, GPUs, up to 120 terabytes of storage, and 25-gigabit networking. Unified Edge won the 2026 Tech Innovation CUBEd Award for most innovative IoT or edge platform.
