Microsoft shipped its largest Patch Tuesday ever, fixing 622 CVEs, more than triple June's previous high. Two actively exploited elevation-of-privilege bugs were patched: CVE-2026-56164 in SharePoint Server and CVE-2026-56155 in Active Directory Federation Services. The update also removes the RC4 rollback switch and includes a BitLocker bypass fix.
