Cloudflare Releases Open-Source Clef Decision Models

Cloudflare launched Clef and Clef-flash, decision models hosted on Workers AI that return typed, probabilistic outputs for agentic workflows. Clef leads the Jev Decision Index and is open-sourced on Hugging Face under Apache 2.0. Cloudflare also debuted an RL fine-tuning product. In testing, Clef classified a domain in 2.2 seconds versus 4.7 seconds for gpt-oss-120b.
