Circle and Tether blacklisted a wallet tied to Thursday's $351.6 million Bitget hack, freezing about $318,000 in USDT and USDC. Other exploiter addresses still hold over 63,000 ETH, which no issuer can freeze. Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said attackers spoofed transactions via a compromised backend, not private keys, and the exchange's $464 million protection fund covers losses.
