Anthropic offers free Claude to US K-12 teachers

Anthropic launched the Claude for Teachers initiative, providing K-12 educators in the US free access to premium Claude features, including Claude Cowork and Claude Code. The offer includes a free year of access, with eligible teachers able to apply by June 30, 2027. The company is also developing a dedicated offering for schools and districts.
