CommonGrid Opens US Power Grid Registry

CommonGrid launched as an open source registry mapping every US utility, territory, operator and interconnection into one connected graph. It normalizes EIA forms, FERC filings and HIFLD shapefiles, covering rates, demand response programs, generation, transmission from 69 kV to 765 kV, EV charging stations and wholesale market nodes across seven ISOs. Licensed under ODbL like OpenStreetMap, it offers a REST API, vector tiles and weekly database snapshots.
