Google Assistant exits Android on September 4th

Google will remove Google Assistant access from Android phones, tablets, and paired devices like Wear OS smartwatches, headphones, and Android Auto cars starting September 4th. Users in Gemini-available regions with compatible devices will only have Gemini. Google Home, Google TV, and Google built-in cars keep Assistant for now.
