Korea Raises Data Breach Fines to 10% of Revenue

South Korea's privacy regulator has sharply increased fines for major negligent data breaches. Companies can now be fined up to 10% of annual revenue for leaks affecting 10 million or more people, a significant jump from the previous 3% cap.
