Rogers adds device setup fee after CRTC ban

Rogers launched a new Device Setup Charge days after the CRTC banned activation fees. The fee applies to specialist-assisted purchases of smartphones, tablets, and watches. Telus added a $15 SIM fee and Bell a $40 device handling fee. The CRTC has already asked Bell and Telus to remove their fees.
