Deepgram Acquires Pipecat Maker Daily

Deepgram announced on Thursday it is acquiring Daily, the creator of the open-source voice AI infrastructure Pipecat. The deal amount remains undisclosed, but the companies will keep Pipecat open-source forever. Daily has raised over $62 million in funding, while Deepgram recently reached unicorn status with a $130 million Series C round.
