Gemini smart home control broken on Wear OS

Wear OS users report Gemini no longer controls smart home devices, with the assistant claiming actions succeeded despite nothing happening. Phone and smart speaker control still works. Google recently expanded Gemini for Home voice commands across media and device controls.
