Anthropic Plans 5% Stock for Public Benefit Fund

Anthropic announced plans to commit 5% of its stock to a new public benefit fund pending stockholder approval. The company, maker of the Claude AI model, structured the vehicle as a wholly owned LLC to allow flexible philanthropy. It also pledged $200 million to study labor market effects.
