Microsoft Moves Halo to Activision, Cuts 268 Jobs

Microsoft is handing the next mainline Halo game to Activision, which will build a new team separate from Call of Duty. Halo Studios, formerly 343 Industries, is effectively closing after 268 roles are eliminated across it and other Xbox teams. A small Halo Studios group will support existing games and the community.
