Cybersecurity researchers disclosed a jailbreak bundle named Haiou that modifies OpenAI Codex to inject ads for a third-party gateway. The tool, available since July 10, 2026, has been forked 77 times and starred 403 times on GitHub. It uses prompt injection to bypass safety guardrails and promote the website zz.aiapi2025[.]top within agent responses.
