Franz von Holzhausen, Tesla's designer, showed Jay Leno his 2006 Pontiac Solstice with a 400-horsepower Mallett V8 LS2 from a Corvette. The car replaced one lost in the Eaton fire. Von Holzhausen designed the Solstice at GM with Bob Lutz.
