The Trojan Room Coffee Pot webcam at Cambridge University was switched off on August 22, 2001, after 10 years of service. Created by Quentin Stafford-Fraser and Paul Jardetzky, its 128x128 grayscale feed predated the World Wide Web to monitor a coffee pot.
