Chinese robotics firm Unitree Robotics was named a robot partner for China Media Group's 2026 Spring Festival Gala, its third collaboration with the event. Unitree first appeared in 2021 with robotic ox Benben and in 2025 featured humanoid robots in a Zhang Yimou-directed performance.
