Qi2 standard may enable 50W wireless charging

The Wireless Power Consortium opened the door to 50W wireless charging speeds based on Qi and Qi2 technology. Xiaomi led the push with a small inductance, low voltage, high power solution. Updates could arrive as soon as 2028, potentially benefiting future Google Pixel and iPhone models.
