Coinbase Launches SpaceX Pre-IPO Perp Futures

Coinbase launched a SpaceX pre-IPO perpetual futures contract tied to the private-market valuation of Elon Musk's space company. The product is available only to traders outside the U.S. and settles in USDC. It tracks SpaceX's private valuation and converts to a regular perpetual future once SpaceX goes public. Perpetual futures account for more than 70% of crypto exchange trading volume according to CoinGecko.
