Anthropic launches Claude Tag as always-on Slack agent

Anthropic replaced its existing Claude in Slack app with Claude Tag, an always-on agentic AI that joins Slack channels as a team member. Tag listens, learns from channel context, and can be tagged to write code, chase metrics, or debug. The old connector deprecates on August 3.
