Kenyan cross-border fintech WapiPay enters Canada with money services licence

WapiPay secured a Money Services Business licence from FINTRAC to offer foreign exchange, money transfer, and payment services in Canada. The Nairobi-founded fintech now has its first regulated North American hub, extending a network covering Africa, Asia, the UK, and the Caribbean. The licence also covers virtual currency and digital asset transactions.
