Researchers Alejandro Hernando and Borja Martinez demonstrated a Windows 11 SYSTEM takeover by abusing Plug and Play auto-install with emulated USB devices. The chain exploits signed vendor software, including Sierra Wireless and Sony FeliCa components, plus a path-traversal flaw. A remote variant works over RDP when USB redirection is enabled, which Microsoft disables by default.
