KelpDAO Sues LayerZero Over $292M Exploit

KelpDAO sued LayerZero and co-founder Bryan Pellegrino, alleging undisclosed weaknesses enabled an April 22 attack that drained 116,500 rsETH, worth $292 million. Pellegrino called the claim meritless and will defend it in a British Columbia court. The exploit erased $20 billion in DeFi deposits and forced Aave to borrow $300 million.
