Figma's design agent, now with custom tools and greater context

Figma launched a design agent on the canvas that accepts prompts to build reusable plugins. The agent uses PropsKit for native-looking plugins and understands team workflows for better collaboration. Product designer Edward Chechique demonstrated generative plugins that import HTML, create dashboard layouts, and visualize data directly in Figma.
