YouTube Music Adds Gemini Ask Music Button

At Made on YouTube 2026, Google previewed YouTube Music updates coming later this year. A Gemini spark icon in the top-right corner opens Ask Music, a chat with voice input and suggested queries like Create a mix. A Your Podcast Lineup feature offers a weekly AI-generated spoken preview of recommended shows. Both roll out globally to YouTube Premium and Music Premium subscribers.
