Google Expands Voluntary Exit Program Globally

Google expanded its voluntary exit program to employees in Canada, France, Germany, Japan and Switzerland in June 2026. The offer provides one month's salary for every year of service, capped at 12 months. This move follows similar programs in the US and UK since 2025 and mirrors Microsoft's recent buyout of 60,000 employees.
