Sony faces Mexico antitrust complaint over disc end

Mexican lawmakers Iraís Reyes and Luis Donaldo Colosio are filing a complaint against Sony with Mexico's National Antitrust Commission over the planned end of PlayStation disc manufacturing by January 2028. The complaint argues the move is anti-competitive, eliminates retailer competition, and forces digital-only purchases. A petition against the decision has nearly 310,000 signatures.
