Researchers Present Pulsing DoS Tunnel Technique

Researchers present TED, a pulsing denial-of-service technique, at USENIX Security 2026. Scans from June 2025 to January 2026 found 1,909,440 hosts passing forwarding tests. Controlled experiments showed a peak rate exceeding 180 times the sender's average rate within a 20ms window.
