D-Wave Quantum launched a beta program for its gate-model quantum computing simulator, built on dual-rail superconducting technology that detects and corrects errors. Participants include Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, FirstQFM, Florida Atlantic University and the Jülich Supercomputing Centre. The simulator lets organizations test error-aware programs ahead of fault-tolerant gate-model systems, following a Nature paper on high-fidelity two-qubit entangling gates.
