Wally Funk, Mercury 13 member, dies at 87

Wally Funk, the last living member of the Mercury 13 women pilots who underwent the same astronaut tests as NASA's original spacemen, died Wednesday at 87. In 2021, she became the oldest woman to fly into space, 60 years after the Lovelace Woman in Space Program was conducted separately.
