Google Bans Chinese Maker Over Botnet

Google, alongside cybersecurity firms and Japanese police, dismantled the X.CPE botnet hidden in over 1.3 million Android TV boxes across 200 countries. The scheme, tied to Videostrong Technology, infected devices by selling access to criminal affiliates and loading malware modules.
