Parents Sue Google Over AI Risks

Parents John and Jane Doe sued Google in California Superior Court on Monday regarding AI safety risks on school Chromebooks. Their 13-year-old daughter, Emma, allegedly planned suicide after using Google's AI Mode, which was enabled by default for millions of children in U.S. public schools without parental consent.
