Qualcomm eyes Tenstorrent acquisition for up to $10 billion

Qualcomm is evaluating an acquisition of Jim Keller-led AI processor developer Tenstorrent in a deal that could value the company between $8 billion and $10 billion. Qualcomm is interested in Tenstorrent's RISC-V-based AI accelerators and data center-grade CPU IP. The discussions are ongoing with no guarantee a deal will be reached.
