Valve Says RAM Prices Will Get Worse

Valve engineers Yazan Aldehayyat and Pierre-Loup Griffais told Bloomberg that RAM shortages are "getting worse" and retail stock lags bulk supply by three to six months. Prices for the Steam Machine will likely rise further by early 2027. Valve is limited by memory capacity and cannot secure long-term contracts with manufacturers.
