Apollo Atomics shrinks steam generators for cheaper nuclear

Apollo Atomics is shrinking nuclear steam generators to cut costs, backed by a $26 million seed round. The MIT-based design makes reactors 40-times smaller, targeting 3 cents per kilowatt hour to beat natural gas. A 300-megawatt plant could be built in under 24 months.
