Prius Sales Plunge 51% as Hybrids Boom

Toyota sold just 1,897 Prius hybrids in September, down from 2,011 a year earlier, while Camry Hybrid and RAV4 Hybrid each topped 25,000 units. Year to date, Prius sales have fallen 51% to 16,731, even as hybrids gain share after Congress ended EV subsidies and fuel prices stay high.
