Passkey malware attacks target Google Password Manager

Palo Alto Networks' Unit 42 found three malware attack paths against Google Password Manager's synced passkeys on Windows PCs. The attacks exploit device trust, onboarding, and recovery mechanisms, not passkey cryptography. Golden Pass-ta-key recovers the master secret and decrypts all synced passkeys. Every attack requires malware on the victim's PC.
