Security researchers found flaws allowing malicious spreadsheets to run code without warnings in LibreOffice and OpenOffice. LibreOffice fixed CVE-2026-63277 on October 5 via updates 26.2.5 and 26.8.0. Apache OpenOffice remains vulnerable in version 4.1.16, with a fix expected in 4.1.17. Users must disable Java support until then.
