Brown professor proves mass AI cheating

Brown economics professor Roberto Serrano documented mass AI cheating in his ECON 1170 class. Take-home midterm average hit 96 out of 100, with 40 perfect scores. After switching the final to in-person, the average dropped to 48. Eighteen students dropped the course; nine skipped the final. Serrano estimates at least 50 students cheated.
