Tesla teases driverless Cybercab ahead of Austin event

Tesla teased its Cybercab robotaxi with X posts saying "no steering wheel, no pedals" ahead of a Thursday Austin event. The driverless two-seater, unveiled in October 2024, has 45 vehicles authorized for driverless operations in Texas. Tesla's unsupervised fleet has logged trips in Austin, Dallas, Houston, Miami, Orlando, and Tampa.
