OpenAI Engineer Arrested for Planting Device

OpenAI terminated Abdulrahman Alfozan on Oct. 9 after his security team found a recording device planted on Sept. 28. The FBI arrested the former employee, who worked at Meta and joined OpenAI in July 2025, for violating a federal recording statute.
