Alibaba Unveils AI Chip, 20GW Data Center Plan

Alibaba introduced the Zhenwu V900 AI chip at its Apsara Conference in Hangzhou, claiming three times the performance of its May-released predecessor. The company also plans over 20 gigawatts of global data center capacity by 2032. Hong Kong shares rose about 3% on the news, as Alibaba pushes deeper into AI infrastructure.
