Alberta is open-sourcing its AI playbook for government

Alberta released The Velocity Papers, a collection of open-source white papers detailing how the province used Anthropic's Claude and Google's Gemini to upgrade government systems. AI agents reviewed 466 million lines of code in 20 hours, a task estimated to cost $2 billion and take six years manually.
