Iran-Linked Attacks Hit US Water Plants

Dozens of US water treatment plants have been hit by cyberattacks since February, with Iran suspected. Hackers are targeting programmable logic controllers, changing passwords and IP addresses to lock out operators. In Georgia, Clayton County Water Authority and Columbus Water Works suffered pressure disruptions in the past month. CISA warns tampering can let untreated groundwater seep into pipes.
