Starcloud Plans Bitcoin Mining in Space

Nvidia-backed startup Starcloud will run Bitcoin mining ASICs on its second spacecraft, launching later this year, CEO Philip Johnston said. He claims it will be the first to mine Bitcoin in space. ASICs cost about 30 times less per kilowatt than GPUs, making mining a compelling use case for orbital compute.
