Anthropic introduced rupee-denominated pricing for Claude in India, its second-largest market after the US, which accounts for 5.8% of global usage. Claude Pro costs ₹2,000 monthly (annual billing), Claude Max starts at ₹11,999, and Team plans begin at ₹2,399 per seat. Payments via UPI are not yet supported.
