Hugging Face released @huggingface/kernels, a library with 207 optimized WebGPU kernels for browser AI, plus Fleet, an in-browser benchmarking suite. On an Apple M4 GPU, the kernels ran 2.57x faster by geometric mean than ORT WebGPU across 809 test cases.
